What could be more courageous than for a member of Congress to let their constituents pick their act of courage?

The member of Congress could hold a series of meetings in their jurisdiction to present the possible acts of courage and describe how they would work. Attendees would have the chance to discuss the acts and propose additional acts of courage.

The acts would be publicized through the member's website and social media, with constituents given the chance to participate in an online poll to select their top choices.
